PRESENCE IN THE PAST
Joe Neil (3:10)
Trad. Melody Lyrics Sons of Sky
Joe Neil was a Gaelic storyteller from Irish Vale, Cape Breton. The Son's of Sky took him with them on a trip to the Isle of Sky in Scotland, and the people there were quite inpressed at this expertise in the use of Gaelic Language. We think that this song tells of the strong heritage between the people from there and people of Cape Breton. Thanks Norman!

Storms (2:48)
David Stone
David has the ability to capture what it nust have been like to go out in a storm on a small fishing vessel, but as well the uncanny ability the fisherman have of sensing danger in the weather without instruments and a warning not to go if this feeling surfaces.
Patiently Waiting (5:24)
David Stone
When I first heard this song I took my hat off to David! It is a classic about the fishing industry set to a haunting melody. Well done David. To the Fisherman and their families...
